The Mugi system is based on the Lurraldebus single pass and is today a unified system which can be used on all means of public transport in Gipuzkoa (except Renfe, where it can only be used as a means of payment); in other words, the same ticket is valid for all means of transport, with the same prices, zones, journey counter, and important discounts for transport changes.

For the citizens of Gipuzkoa, Mugi is a benchmark as a transport system, but for the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa it is hugely important to offer an adequate interurban bus service, and it does just that through Lurraldebus.
